I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a short-term, evidence-based treatment that targets behaviors and thoughts that prevent good sleep. EMDR may be added if unresolved issues or a traumatic experience are underlying.

Identify the reasons behind your sleepless nights and take action to drive insomnia out of your bedroom. We will target the behaviors, thoughts, and emotions perpetuating your insomnia and process any trauma related to sleep.

Are struggling with sleep, but once they get into bed, their mind starts racing non-stop. As someone who also experienced insomnia, I can empathize with your struggles. Insomnia disorder affects you all day, not only at night.

I became a therapist because:

Despite being a licensed therapist since 2005, I was able to tackle my insomnia after I learned CBT-I as a clinician. This has become my passion.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am flexible and accommodating to what works best for my client. Hence, we can meet face-to-face (Sugar Land, TX), via telehealth, or both.
