  • Something to know about my approach is:

    I approach therapy from an integrative, holistic health perspective - meaning I seek to integrate the ways that the mind-body and gut-brain connections overlap. I am currently in my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and am a Certified EMDR Therapist.

    I enjoy exploring themes including self-compassion, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, self-care, community care, race-based trauma, systemic and collective trauma, shame resiliency and the ways shame impacts mental health

  • I specialize in working with people who:

    Have experienced trauma - meaning anything that has been a shock to their mind, body, soul and spirit. Trauma can include interpersonal trauma, medical and/or birth trauma, race-based trauma, historical, systemic, and collective trauma

  • I became a therapist because:

    I desire to provide compassionate, nonjudgemental therapy services to people of diverse backgrounds and to help end stigma of mental health.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

    I am one in a few private practice therapists in Waco, Texas that is a minority/person of color and I am bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.

    I have training in Perinatal Mental Health through 2020 Moms/PSI and am currently receiving training for Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness.
