I used evidenced-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure Therapy (for anxiety), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and more.

get more insight into your thoughts/feelings/behavior and then take effective action in your everyday life. I firmly believe that if therapy works, you should see tangible changes for the better outside of therapy room.

I specialize in working with people who:

have: anxiety, problems being assertive and standing up for yourself, people-pleasing tendencies, neurodivergence issues, sadness and depression, traumatic experiences/trauma, feeling stuck/directionless/problems with motivation

I became a therapist because:

quite simply, I wanted a job where I could help people who are suffering. I think it's a great honor to be able to help people on such a personal leve

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I practice in the heart of Rosslyn in Arlington, but also offer telehealth 5 days a week.

I have over 20 years of experience in the social work field, including years of working with people with serious mental illness, suicidality, developmental disabilities (intellectual disability, autism, down syndrome, etc.), trauma, etc.
