My clients describe me as:
I work with clients on a real, interactive, and engaged level collaborating to meet you where you are as a safe support in your journey.
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe in a holistic conceptualization of the body-mind connection and focus my practice in healing centered engagement with trauma informed practices. My approach is relational, psychodynamic, somatically and integrated.
Together, we will:
We work together as you bravely make sense of early experiences, address current issues, and shift the patterns and perceptions of yourself and others that incumber growth, wholeness and peace.
I specialize in working with people who:
aren’t sure where to start but understand the need for something to shift. Feel stuck by their lives circumstances, a particular experience, or relationship wounds… particularly those from their family of origin or current major attachments.
I became a therapist because:
My life has been transformed by deep therapeutic work myself and I have always been fascinated by psychology and human growth across a lifespan.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
It’s a beautiful building near downtown Charlottesville with easy parking access.
More about me and my practice:
I have received training in psychodynamic, DBT, mindfulness, stress and trauma focused therapy, and spiritual advising, with ongoing training in psychoanalytic theory and attachment. I see this work as an honor and privilege.
