About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

I am a Latinx clinical psychologist who is authentic, inclusive and compassionate. I am honored to co-construct a space in which healing is possible.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

I provide affirmative, empowerment-based, relational, insight-oriented (psychodynamic) psychological services. I believe that everyone has the right to make their own decisions and that people are doing the best they can given their circumstances.

  • Together, we will:

We will work collaboratively to understand your concerns, develop goals for treatment and co-construct a therapeutic space that feels safe and supportive for you.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize in working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients. Areas of focus for treatment vary but usually centers around trauma, identity and spirituality (including difficulties with belief systems). I am sex-positive, poly and kink friendly.

  • I became a therapist because:

I believe everyone is capable of healing if provided a safe and supportive environment. I want to do my part to make the world a safer place.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

All my services are provided virtually via HIPAA-compliant software over a secure network. I have my plant friends and crystals (off camera) as well.

  • More about me and my practice:

I earned a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2005 and have worked with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients ever since. I have worked as a clinician, academic and administrator and chose to open my own practice in order to create a direct impact every day.
