Q&A
Being able to hear them. Who holds them accountable in between sessions. That collaborates with them and works together with them to meet goals.
I focus on what will work best for you. I do not use the same approach for each individual as each person is different. I want you to feel comfortable enough with me to tell me if something is not working. I want you to be heard and have a voice.
Identify goals of therapy. Work toward processing and unpacking past and/or current trauma. Increase insight and self-awareness to develop the tools that you need to live a [insert own word-because its about you!] (ex: joyful, peaceful) life.
Are struggling with depression, anxiety, and any recent or current changes in life. I focus on working with women that struggle with adjustments that could be related to relationships, work stress, and/or changes with self to include body.
I have a personal understanding of how mental health can impact a person; I enjoy helping others unpack and process their own to increase insight.
