Currently I have limited morning, early evening and Saturday appointments available.
My clients describe me as:
Warm, compassionate and human. I see the strengths in my clients and use those to help them work towards healing.
Something to know about my approach is:
I know that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting, to recovery, to healing. I take a holistic approach, exploring all aspects of health with my clients.
Together, we will:
Work through your biggest parenting challenges, and address any concerns you have about alcohol, weed, or other substances for yourself or someone you love. We’ll work towards YOUR goals to bring peace and healing into your life.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are parents of children with challenging behaviors, substance use disorders, and other needs. I also work with adults who are concerned about the use of alcohol, weed, opioids or other substances, for themselves or someone they love.
I became a therapist because:
I do great work with parents and families. I’m a parent and I get it. Parenting is joyful but also challenges us in ways we never predicted.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I do Walk-and-Walk Therapy— therapy while walking along beautiful wooded paths—in Loudoun County, VA. I also provide telehealth sessions in Virginia.
More about me and my practice:
My private practice is called Forest Path Therapy and Wellness. I also work at a community mental health center.
