My clients describe me as:
someone who offers a judgment-free zone for you to share the things that bother you, and the issues you are struggling with.
Something to know about my approach is:
I will help you find the path forward, and strategies to make changes that give you space to grow and heal. My approach is trauma-informed, mindfulness-centered and I am an LGBTQ+ affirming ally. You will always be safe with me.
Together, we will:
address your most pressing concerns in a way that lets you find the answers and the solutions that work for you. There is no one-size-fits-all, and I can't give you the answers - you will find them in yourself. It is my privilege to guide you.
I specialize in working with people who:
are struggling to find peace in their lives. Many of my clients come with substance use issues, relationship issues, or questions about their sexuality or gender identity. Because I've experienced a lot in my life, my worldview is broad and accepting
I became a therapist because:
there's so much pain in the world. Becoming a therapist is my way of helping my little corner of the world find more peace in their lives.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I'm telehealth only, so you don't even need to leave your home or office to meet with me! I'm convenient, private (HIPAA) and my hours are flexible.
More about me and my practice:
As a Resident in private practice, I'm not permitted to accept insurance and I have a highly respected and experienced Supervisor. If you and I get "stuck" I can collaborate with her or consult with my network of other respected peers in the field.
