I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy, so our work together will be collaborative. I use a range of approaches including EMDR, FLASH, Adaptive Disclosure, talk therapy, and more to help you heal and build the life you want.

We will work together to heal past or current traumas, griefs and losses, and addictions, if that's a concern. All the while, we will be identifying and building on your strengths, moving towards a life that feels meaningful and engaged for you.

I specialize in working with people who are stuck in trauma, grief, or addiction and want help to achieve their goals of healing those areas of their life so they can feel more free. I have specific training in military/veteran populations.

I became a therapist because:

People have always said they feel comfortable talking to me. I feel it is an honor and a privilege to be able to walk alongside people in their work.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

The theme of our office is owls, and the office itself feels very calming and safe, like a nest. Owls are good metaphors for therapy and insight.

Most of the healing in therapy occurs in the relationship we create together. I value a warm, open, honest, creative and - when appropriate - humorous approach to therapy.
