I currently see patients on Sundays.
My clients describe me as:
Genuine, real, compassionate, warm, curious, empowering, and affirming. Patients say they feel safe and seen with me. You can swear around me.
Something to know about my approach is:
My approach is collaborative and I use evidence-based approaches such as Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, & Motivational Interviewing. I regularly check in on the real-world changes you are seeking.
Together, we will:
Process your experiences and how they have affected you, explore your values and build a life you're enthusiastic about, develop skills to foster peace for your body and mind, and challenge perfectionism, shame, and self-doubt.
I specialize in working with people who:
are navigating the aftermath of trauma, life transition, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, and religious deconstruction. I especially enjoy working with female-identified individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I became a therapist because:
I have felt the power of being seen, believed, and supported in my most vulnerable moments. To provide such a space for my patients is an honor.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer therapy in Issaquah, WA, and I see people in-person AND virtually. My office is wheelchair accessible.
More about me and my practice:
My practice is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. I also offer consultations and letters in support of gender-affirming care and procedures.
