I use a combination of techniques to help patients feel better. For trauma, I offer EMDR therapy combined with ego state therapy--a rich, rewarding way of appreciating all your different needs. The therapy relationship we build offers safety.

...listen to the needs of all sides of you, and diminish past trauma and pain in a way that is effective, keeping you safe and in control. Patients who fully engage with the work will be invited to share their strengths and their pain, at their pace.

I specialize in working with people who:

...have been misdiagnosed with bipolar, ADHD and other disorders, when in actuality, they are living with the aftermath of complex trauma. I work almost exclusively with patients who are recovering from PTSD and dissociation.

I became a therapist because:

More about me and my practice:

I have worked in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, mental health community centers, substance programs, and a psychiatric prison. Working with people in all these circumstances has allowed me to greet everyone with compassion and care.
