Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), I assist you in achieving awareness on how to make lasting behavior changes in order to live a life you value. We can't control our emotions or thoughts but we can refuse to be controlled by them.

I teach skills! Content can be important but it can also just be the story of the week. I teach skills to unhook from unhelpful patterns, identify your values, and engage with what is important to you. I also teach self compassion, you deserve it!

Have experienced a recent loss, are adjusting to parenthood either by welcoming a new baby or becoming a step-parent (bonus-parent), are finding themselves stuck in patterns of avoidance or not being able to achieve their much desired goals.
I became a therapist because:
I was born gifted with an ability and desire to connect and help. Sitting with people when they are struggling comes naturally to me.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
My office is located in a residential area. It offers a more private and intimate setting to explore and grow in therapy.

I love to read and often recommend articles or books that will resonate with my clients. I also help my clients take what we are discussing in therapy and make it "stick" outside of therapy: an exercise or skill building worksheet.
