Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
My clients describe me as:
Straightforward and easy to talk to. I also hear that I have a good sense of humor!
Something to know about my approach is:
I base my work off of Buddhist psychology. This is one of the strongest influences on how I see human minds. I also study eco-psychology and even anthropology, and climate anxiety is something I'm working with more and more.
Together, we will:
First, we would assess your needs: are you in need of immediate symptom relief, for issues like panic attacks or insomnia? If so, we can likely get you feeling better pretty quickly! Then we would work to determine what the deeper causes are.
I specialize in working with people who:
...have experienced trauma, stress, and burnout. I often work with people struggling with depression and anxiety, as well as addictions. Often, depression, anxiety, and addictions have trauma at their root. This is what I LOVE helping people with.
I became a therapist because:
I like the conversations that polite society avoids: death, divorce, and hating people you think you're supposed to love are some of my favorites!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer telehealth, and office appointments in the Securities Building in downtown Seattle. I also offer outdoor sessions at a number of local parks.
