I work Tuesday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. In person Thursdays and Fridays only.
My clients describe me as:
Warm, empathetic, understanding and insightful. I help people towards healing and gaining a positive self outlook.
Something to know about my approach is:
My therapeutic approach is warm, empathetic and strengths-based. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Child Mental Health Professional and am EMDR certified. I am passionate about helping survivors of trauma and painful life experiences.
Together, we will:
Collaborate to understand the underlying painful experiences and trauma events that trigger you. You will engage in resource development, techniques to calm you're nervous system and will process painful events.
I specialize in working with people who:
Have experienced painful life events and are seeking to become unstuck in the negative cycle they find themselves in. This includes PTSD, Eating Disorders, Behavior challenges, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship issues and Grief and Loss.
I became a therapist because:
I am a survivor of trauma myself and wanted to give back and devote my life to helping others find healing. I believe in the therapeutic process.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I can provide virtual sessions for anyone within Washington state as well as in a private cozy spot in the Yakima Valley.
More about me and my practice:
My approach is warm, empathetic and strengths-based. Sessions are a combination of exploration and skill-building. I utilize EMDR, CBT and Mindfulness. I will non-judgmentally meet you where you are at and help you move past judging yourself.
