My clients describe me as:
Clients typically describe me as empathetic, validating, compassionate, and skilled at targeting practical, goal-oriented solutions.
Something to know about my approach is:
I join you where you are, then bring an integrative, intellectual approach to therapy. I encourage "homework" curated to your goals, and frequently include self-compassion practices to help you tap into your own resources for healing and growth.
Together, we will:
Look at achieving your goals in the context of all the aspects of your life (within you, between you and others, and around you systemically), then make adjustments where necessary to allow you to evolve into the person you truly want to be.
I specialize in working with people who:
have significant stressors or difficult relationships, now or past, who are wanting to grow and change to live a happier, healthier life.
I became a therapist because:
Working as a teacher and youth director helped me realize that my passion is in helping people create meaningful change, leading me to pursue an LMFT
More about me and my practice:
At GHW, we believe that by focusing on human connection we can create lasting change. We work to improve three essential types of relationships: your relationships with others, your relationship with change, and your relationship with yourself.
