I trust that as an LGBTQ+ person, if you’ve gotten this far in life, you have some strengths and qualities that we can build on to help with current worries, discouragement, and disconnection. We will talk about what matters most to you at this time in your life and how to build a pathway forward.

To our work together, I bring my expertise in LGBTQ+ aging and mental health, and as my client, you bring your expertise in your own life, experiences, and needs. Together, we will identify patterns, thoughts, or other contributors to your current challenges and set goals to help you move forward toward what matters most.

What I’ve heard from my former clients is that they felt seen, were able to share without judgment, and had the space to make the changes they knew they needed but had not had the support to make. They have said that it was easy to feel comfortable to share early on, our work was focused on clear goals, and that I honored their choices and autonomy.

I am drawn to helping people who are confronting factors that feel (or are) out of their control. This may be a new diagnosis, caregiving responsibilities, navigating health care as an LGBTQ+ person, or losing a loved one. I help people tap into their 'inner phoenix,' moving through difficulty toward what matters most at this time of life.

I tried psychotherapy during my own coming out process, . It was scary and I wasn't sure what to expect. However, the support and resulting transformation I felt within myself led me to want to offer that to others. I have stayed in this profession because of the relationships I have formed with clients and the positive changes I have seen in their lives.

Through my practice, I offer online therapy sessions in over 40 states under PSYPACT. Though I am not paneled with insurance, I can help my clients use out-of-network benefits which can make therapy more affordable.
