My clients describe me as:
very easy to talk to. I am non-threatening, yet still manage to tell clients what they need to hear, even if it is something hard for them to hear.
Something to know about my approach is:
that my counseling relationships are based entirely on honesty, genuineness, and a desire to move clients from where they are to where they want to be. I use a variety of techniques taken from various theoretical approaches to human behavior.
Together, we will:
identify what is causing the pain or discomfort, overcome the barriers to making progress, and learn new skills to reach your full potential.
I specialize in working with people who:
have experienced difficult times in their personal lives or in their relationships. Family dynamics can be disrupted at many levels, and I work with couples, parents and children to resolve conflicts and bring harmony to the family unit.
I became a therapist because:
I suffer from depression and anxiety myself. I have had a number of good therapists over the years, and I wanted to be part of that healing community.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
all sessions are virtual. I am licensed in Ohio and Wyoming, and I provide both therapy and supervision for other therapists in both states.
More about me and my practice:
We will work with you to get the help you need. If you find I am not a good fit for your needs or your personality, we have a number of other clinicians in our practice that might be a better fit for you. We want to do what is best for you.
