relaxed but engaged, playful but present, warm while honest and transparent, goofy and authentic, and not one to miss the critical details.
Something to know about my approach is:
I work with the subconscious patterns that drive behavior and mental-emotional cycles, identifying unmet needs and clues that tell us how to end that cycle. I combine the latest research and insight into flowing with the natural intelligence in us.
Together, we will:
Go much deeper than coping skills and support the natural intelligence of your nervous system to unravel symptoms that are stuck on repeat no matter what you do. We'll also help you find your most authentic self buried under all of that.
I specialize in working with people who:
are sensitive and perceptive, feel a special connection with nature, but tend to feel isolated and anxious in our society, and often have a history of complex post traumatic stress disorder due to childhood abuse.
I became a therapist because:
I was studying climate change impacts in an Alaska native community, disturbed by the traumatic legacy of colonization, and I wanted to find the roots
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
for those that are local to Jackson, Wyoming and surrounding areas, we'll go outside together when weather permits, and weave nature into our session.
More about me and my practice:
You could say I combine help you recognize and learn to trust the natural intelligence in your body by bringing you out into nature, where natural intelligence is undeniable and abounds without restraint.
