I work with survivors of trauma (sexual, emotional, physical, neglect, abandonment). I'm an EMDR certified therapist, which is a research based therapy that helps to process past trauma, and come to a place of inner resolution.
By the third session, you can expect to feel more at ease. The initial issue has been identified and discussed, so now we will focus on meeting the goals you have set to make the changes you want to make. A partnership will evolve.

I am trained in systems therapy, cognitive behavioral, and motivational therapies, and I encourage the practice of mindfulness and meditation. I utilize appropriate workbooks and bibliotherapy.

I approach my treatment methods through a trauma-informed lens & look at situations through a strengths-based perspective. I am trained in TF-CBT, CBT, DBT and REBT. As a certified Yoga instructor, I love to incorporate mindfulness & yoga techniques.
