I do not practice traditional psychotherapy. My aim is to teach you how to effectively apply mindfulness to your daily process. I have taken ancient techniques regarding mindful awareness and tweaked them to be more applicable to modern day life.
A person who comes to me for therapy is having problems related to their emotions (ie. anxiety, depression); relationships and self esteem issues and whose goal is to work in therapy on developing strategies to deal with these problems.

My approach is eclectic. We will have a conversation together about what is troubling you and I will respond with what I think will help you understand yourself and move forward free of the obstacles that brought you into therapy.
I will work hard to listen for patterns and make connections between your past and your current situation. We will work together from that point forward collaboratively and establish a strong and mutually trusting therapeutic relationship.

The first step in therapy is for me to learn all about you and what has brought you to a point in your life where you are seeking help. I will ask you to tell me all about yourself, your life, and your current situation.
