I find that being structured, goal-oriented, and thorough leads to a powerful change for the individual. My theoretical preference is dependent on the individual. However, I tend to combine behavioral, cognitive, and psychodynamic perspectives.

As a therapist, my first role is first to listen. I will often reflect your issues back, so you can hear them from another perspective. Sometimes I will challenge your self-talk and belief statements, but you will always feel deeply supported.
