Something to know about my approach is:

I am an EMDR certified therapist that will help you build tangible coping skills each session, while working towards reprocessing past events that impact your day-to-day life and/or keep you from living the life you want to live.

Together, we will:

discuss/work on anything that is important to you! And to help you find relief, we will build skills in 4 main areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

I specialize in working with people who:

feel like life just keeps getting in their way. Sometimes it feels like either we are on an emotional rollercoaster that we just can't get off, or that life continuously throws us curve balls and we just can't catch a break. I can help with that!

I became a therapist because:

I want to help others heal and have the life they want - just as someone helped me to do so.

I do my best to be a "real person" rather than just some person you show up to talk to each week.

More about me and my practice:

I am a mom of 1 spunky little girl, 4 lovable cats, and 1 high-spirited dog! I love doing yoga, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, and exploring nature in my spare time. I incorporate these aspects of myself so we can have a real therapeutic relationship!
