I'm a warm and empathetic therapist, who is skilled at working with different types of people. I listen deeply and am very positive.
My style is greatly informed by my background in children and family work. I help clients see how their early relationships and experiences informed who they are today, celebrating the strengths, while making room for growth.
With a gentle and authentic approach, I build trust with clients to allow for vulnerability, risk taking, and ultimately personal growth. When I meet with clients for the first few times, I ask a lot of questions to really get to know them.
Many of my clients are high achievers, yet feel overwhelmed by anxiety or depression. They are looking for something different, that will help give them new insights and hope. I provide therapy for teens, young adults, parents and those desiring KAP.
One of my favorite part of this work is meeting new people. I am always inspired and humbled by people opening up and sharing with me.
I offer therapy virtually or in-person in my light-filled cozy office in Berkeley, CA.
I adheres to the notion that two things can be true: we can show ourselves more self-love and acceptance AND work towards change at the same time. I works collaboratively with clients to find themes, set goals and develop new practices.
