A good listener, empathetic, understanding, warm, attentive, and engaging. My clients appreciate the different perspectives that I bring to the table.
Something to know about my approach is:
Constant worry, predicting the worst, racing mind, and negating thinking may be among what you are experiencing. My approach is collaborative and warm, while also being directive when needed.
Together, we will:
Increase your awareness of the thoughts that trigger the stress response, emotions that can bubble into conflict, physical signs that your body is in distress, and maladaptive behaviors. We will also incorporate strategies to help you manage stress.
I specialize in working with people who:
Experience a lot of stress (whether at home, work, or school) that may result in anxiety and/or burnout. These individuals are not aware of the various stress-reducing strategies they can use to help them and seek my help.
I became a therapist because:
I am passionate about helping others find their peace (even in the midst of what is happening around them) and have a fulfilling life on their terms.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer therapy via a video platform. I strive to create a safe and healing environment in video sessions.
More about me and my practice:
I believe in progress, not perfection. I also believe that each individual has his or her own strengths to enhance his or her well-being and a better quality of life. I value diversity and support equal access to quality mental health care for all.
