Wednesdays: 12pm, 2pm
My clients describe me as:
A calm, genuine and open-minded person that looks out for their best interests, who truly cares and gently challenges them to believe in themselves.
Something to know about my approach is:
Although I am well-versed in CBT, mindfulness and trauma therapy, I tend to often approach therapy from a humanistic lens - Where I accept individuals without judgement, honor their experiences and assist them in reaching their full potential.
Together, we will:
When working together, we will set personal therapeutic goals, work towards decreasing unwanted symptoms and challenge you to explore your true sense of self. I'll be here to sit with you in very difficult times & also to celebrate your success.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are teenagers (14-17) and young adults (18-30) who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma and chronic substance use. I also love working with individuals who are in transitional phases of life, whether that is grief/loss, sexual identity or crisis.
I became a therapist because:
I believe people are capable of amazing things when given the opportunity to reflect, heal and grow.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer tele-therapy (video/phone) from the comfort of your home. No traffic, no fighting for parking, and no catching every red light on the way.
More about me and my practice:
I'm a therapist with lived experience. Besides wanting the best for others, I've known what it feels like to sit in some of the darkest corners of life alone - which is why I care deeply about those I treat and work to provide them with the best care
