My clients describe me as:
nonjudgmental, warm, and understanding.
Something to know about my approach is:
I do my best to make this process as comfortable and transparent as possible. I start by asking about what brings you into therapy, then we work on clarifying your treatment goals and creating a realistic treatment plan that you feel good about.
Together, we will:
We will explore your concerns from a whole-person lens, including biological, psychological, and social factors. We will use evidence-based interventions, including CBT, mindfulness practices, and behavioral strategies, to work towards your goals.
I specialize in working with people who:
are adjusting to a stressful change or event, whether it is related to one's health or a different area of life. As a health psychologist, chronic conditions and acute life-changing health diagnoses are an area I have expertise in.
More about me and my practice:
I have worked in various settings, including outpatient medical offices, medical hospitals, and schools. Prior to starting my own practice, I was working in a cardiology department with individuals with heart failure and heart transplants.
