My clients find me to be caring, warm, calming, and challenging.
Something to know about my approach is:
I work with individuals and couples and I value my relationships with my clients. I like to draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy as tools to guide our work together.
Together, we will:
Collaborate on treatment goals and work together to meet them. Together we will challenge old patterns and help you develop new skills, and heal the hurts that hold you back.
I specialize in working with people who:
Struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, and adjustment issues. I also work with couples who are struggling in their relationships and want to improve how they relate to each other.
I became a therapist because:
I decided to become a therapist at age 17 with the hope that I could be a part of reducing the suffering in the world.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I use telehealth only.
More about me and my practice:
I've been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years. I train student therapists. write fiction, and travel as an inspirational speaker.
