neurodiversity-affirming, understanding, nonjudgmental, open-minded, honest, creative, and full of humor!
I believe in neurodiversity, which is the idea that all brains are unique. Nature is full of biodiversity, and no brain is more "normal" than any other! I help my clients with the societal expectations that come with living in a neurotypical world.
Develop strategies to help you function through life without feeling drained. To be able to set goals for yourself (even minimal ones!) and accomplish them. You will love yourself and feel good about who you are.
Know they are capable, but feel like failures. No matter how hard they try, they never feel good enough. They have the desire to succeed, but things always seem to get in the way, and it always seems like your fault.
Navigating the normal things in life was very overwhelming to me. I thrived when I had others help me, and I want to do the same for you.
I identify as a Neurodiversity Affirming Therapist. Please visit my website to learn more about neurodiversity.
