I am currently accepting new clients via Telehealth (video sessions) and in person.
My clients describe me as:
Collaborative, open, honest, and vulnerable. Matt provides a safe space that generates meaningful growth and positive change.
Something to know about my approach is:
Animal Assisted Therapy is a powerful tool that utilizes an animal during treatment. I use evidence-based practices supported by animal assisted interventions including: EMDR, Neurofeedback, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Together, we will:
Work to help you regain control. You will learn how to cope with your thoughts, develop awareness into your experiences, and live a meaningful life free from the tethers of trauma.
I specialize in working with people who:
Are you tired of feeling stuck? Past feeling overwhelmed and exhausted? Trauma, anxiety, grief, and other distressing life events can interfere with the motivation to even get out of bed. You feel as if you are running on empty.
I became a therapist because:
I believe in the healing power of therapy and am honored to walk side-by-side on your journey
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Your therapy sessions may include certified therapy dog, Ness, who will be present as part of your therapeutic process.
More about me and my practice:
We focus on establishing trust, fostering connection, and building compassion for self and others. Animals are incredible listeners and allies that can provide support as we embark on your journey toward healing and self-love.
