My clients describe me as:
…. kind, a good listener, attentive, easy to talk to despite some occasional corny jokes.
Something to know about my approach is:
… grounded in providing my clients a platform to be human, express themselves authentically, and feel safe as you grow into your best self. It’s trauma-informed and integrative, infused with compassion, and sprinkled with humor.
Together, we will:
… explore ideas and strategies to help you become more self-aware of your thoughts and behaviors, cope with difficult emotions, navigate the nuances of life, and create positive change that results in deeper connection with yourself and others.
I specialize in working with people who:
… have experienced trauma from childhood. Although they have been able to survive it, they are now ready to start addressing it. They notice that the distress has weighed heavy and has brought up feelings of anxiety, anger, and low self worth.
I became a therapist because:
… I wanted to help others create a fulfilling life even if life dealt you an absolutely horrible hand. One that you didn’t deserve.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer telehealth so therapy can be done in the comfort of your own home. As well as in an office that I tried to make as comfortable as your home.
More about me and my practice:
I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidenced based approach that helps individuals overcome mental health symptoms that stem from distressful memories. ART has effectively treated PTSD, anxiety, phobias, depression, and grief.
