My therapeutic approach is eclectic. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and (DBT), receive Internal Family Systems (IFS) training, and implement somatic techniques during my sessions. These frameworks guide my work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, particularly pregnancy/infant loss, and other significant life transitions.

I specialize in supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, and grief/loss. I began by studying macro-social systems—how institutions like government, family, and community shape individual lives. Through research, I discovered a deeper interest in personal stories and supporting individual needs. This shift gives me a more holistic approach to therapy, helping clients understand themselves and the influence of their environment.

Grace Paulsen is a Licensed Master Social Worker who received her degree from Georgia State University. A Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, she brings a diverse perspective to her work and supports individuals through their unique challenges. Grace focuses on making therapy attuned to the needs of her clients. She is under the supervision of Veronica Pomeranz.
