a warm, caring, direct and curious listener who values the therapeutic relationship and understand and honor the courage it takes to change and grow.
I invite you to talk about your emotions and experiences and the challenges involved in recovering from trauma. We will navigate the intricacies of your healing process and develop a new sense of possibility and hope. Your story matters.
I can help you pay attention to things you may not know or have not noticed. We will explore what may be hidden or overwhelming, and look at the complicated emotions impacting your life. Working together, we will explore new ways of being yourself.
I work with people who experienced complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, family of origin issues, loss and grief, depression, anxiety, self-injury, and chronic suicidal ideation. I have experience working with those with histories of sexual abuse
I strongly believe that we heal in relationships and having an empathic and curious stance cultivates connection and healing.
We are at the beautiful historic Monadnock Building in downtown Chicago, near all public transit and surrounded by parking options.
Therapy can provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can notice and explore these patterns. We will cultivate a working relationship based on trust, respect, honesty, and empathy.
