My goal is to create a safe space for you in a world that may not always do so. I emphasize a multicultural, anti-racist, and socially just setting.
I predominantly practice through a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and person-centered lens, I also believe in utilizing an eclectic and integrative approach to therapy, incorporating a variety of theoretical orientations and treatment modalities.
My specialities include trauma, anxiety, depression, issues related to self-worth/self-esteem, and interpersonal dynamics. There is often a focus on childhood and how our past effects our present and future, but also emphasis on creating change.
are as young as 5 years old, adolescents, and adults. I strive to make myself available to people from marginalized communities who may not always have access or feel comfortable in predominantly white spaces.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic space as a means for change. Sometimes we need extra support and I want to be that for others.
I proudly work at a Black, woman-owned practice with a majority Black practitioners and other practitioners of color.
