My clients describe me as:
I am attuned to their feelings and behaviors. I focus at first on building the alliance. Then we work to identify the change agent.
Something to know about my approach is:
I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychotherapy techniques to help, especially with trauma needs. We first focus on building the therapy alliance, creating a safe space to share thoughts and feelings.
Together, we will:
My role as a psychotherapist is not to fix you or advise you what to do. I am here to listen, become attuned to your experiences and ask you important questions. There is no room for judgement. You are always in charge of your next steps.
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with people who struggle with social anxiety, general anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, complex trauma. As a minority myself, I work with minority populations and understand their unique experiences.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to better understand my own family dynamics and in studying behaviors, I became more interested in applying what I studied to help others.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I create a unique experience for my clients where they feel empowered, they understand that they are in charge of their therapy journey.
More about me and my practice:
I am currently in the process of securing office space and plan to offer in-person, hybrid, and/or virtual therapy in the next two months. My office will be located in the Castleton area.
