My clients describe me as:
I attempt to provide a non-judgmental, supportive space for people to explore various aspects of their life.
Something to know about my approach is:
For trauma, my main modality is EMDR. I do use other modalities, e.g. CBT, DBT, and strengths perspective. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
Together, we will:
Explore ways to help cope with the present, while exploring the past as needed to heal root causes of your problems.
I specialize in working with people who:
I specialized in working with traumatized individuals, whether, it is a more recent event or something from the past. I work with adults of all ages from various backgrounds. I also enjoy creating plans with adults experiencing symptoms of ADHD.
I became a therapist because:
There is a longer answer than what can fit here. The short of it is that my dad was a therapist. Helping others was a core belief in my family.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I have decided to provide therapy completely online to reduce my overhead, thus providing cheaper, quality therapy to more people in La.
More about me and my practice:
Change is a constant, and I perceive myself as a guide to help individuals traverse the turbulent waters of the change that the individual wants. To me, the therapeutic rapport is the most important part in the process.
