I use a trauma-informed lens when working with my clients. For some, it’s difficult to open up about their feelings because they’ve never been given that chance. I provide a space for clients to express themselves, give them validation and support.

In this therapeutic relationship, we will work toward implementing coping skills to manage your stressors or other behaviors. Implementing mindfulness, and drawing out your current strengths is also essential.

I’m compassionate, easy to talk to, relational, empathetic, and provide a listening ear. I make sure to validate one’s thoughts and feelings.

I specialize in working with people who have an extensive trauma history, or been involved/currently involved in the legal system.

One of the most rewarding experiences is being a support in someones mental health journey, and watching a person grow and live the life they desire.

I have a Bernedoodle, named Denver. He will be training to become a therapy dog. I think to myself... what is better than working with your best friend? Dogs are amazing at being in-tune to a human's emotions. With more training, Denver will be great

I offer in-person sessions in Jenison, Michigan. I am also capable of providing therapy via telehealth to anyone living in the state of Michigan.
