Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I only have openings between 9:30am and 3:00pm
My clients describe me as:
Direct, validating, and empathetic. I believe humor is healing, and believe therapy is best with a cup of coffee (or tea).
Something to know about my approach is:
I believe you are the professional of your own life, and my job is to help you find the path that you want to be on. I try to balance compassion and empathy with direct challenges. I also integrate DBT skills with most of my work.
Together, we will:
Walk the path of healing through humor, validation, and challenges. We will talk about family of origin, current life stress (including the impact of current events), and trauma as identified by you.
I specialize in working with people who:
are in the process of family planning, experiencing infertility, are pregnant, have lost a pregnancy, experienced TFMR, and/or experiencing parenting stress. I also specialize working with religious/cult trauma.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to provide support to individuals who are struggling with all aspects of reproduction.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
Being primarily virtual, I encourage you to bring crafts, yarn work, coloring materials, or whatever helps you best process.
More about me and my practice:
I primarily provide services via telehealth. I lead a virtual DBT group for people of all gender identities struggling with all aspects of parenting - whether a newborn or a teen (or everyone in between). I do offer in-person session on Tuesday only
