Therapy works best when it is collaborative and based in trust. Every person is unique, and they experience the world differently. I do not try and box clients into specific approaches; I work with them and use all of the tools at my disposal to help them become the best version of themselves (whatever their definition of that is).

Work together to create a space where you can feel totally safe and supported. We will set goals to orient us and guide us. We will look at the past history of a problem, and we will look at the present symptoms of the problem. We will create new insights and understandings, and find tools to manage and eventually overcome the present difficulty.

Insurance companies unethically force therapists to give a diagnosis after one session with a client, & they also do not maintain high enough standards of confidentiality and data safety. I do not accept insurance to avoid these issues, but I will help you get reimbursed using your Out Of Network benefits. Patients normally are reimbursed up to 80%!
