My clients describe me as:
Outgoing, innovative and realistic. My clients and I work together to develop skills and solutions that are realistic and applicable to their lives.
Something to know about my approach is:
I seek to educate about, and celebrate what it means to simply be human. Using mindfulness-based strategies, I help clients understand their own incredible biology to foster self-compassion and alternatives to their current stressors.
Together, we will:
Strive to enhance your safety, health, and happiness through the ebbs and flows of your situation. We will dive into emotions that make you feel stuck, while fostering self-compassion and gaining life skills that you can carry with you forever.
I specialize in working with people who:
are kids (8+) and adolescents experiencing a range of stressors. I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, parental stress, ADHD, autism, transitions, relationship stress, and substance misuse.
I became a therapist because:
I wanted to play a key role in creating actual change in the lives of those needing support, rather than to be just another ineffective resource.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I organize the structure of our time together around what YOU need/want to achieve. You always have a choice and a voice here.
More about me and my practice:
I offer virtual services to anyone located in the state of North Carolina. I utilize CBT and other mindfulness based strategies to help clients reach their goals such as positive psychology, ACT and AEDP.
