About Me:

  • My clients describe me as:

Warm, friendly and fun. At the same time, highly skilled and committed to the work we do together.

  • Something to know about my approach is:

It's trauma-informed. I bring over ten years counseling experience into our work. I have specialized training in evidence-based treatment models such as EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT Skills Training.

  • Together, we will:

Focus on identifying the source of your pain and discovering ways to help you heal. I specialize in treating all types trauma - loss and grief, medical, abuse, racial, secondary, burnout & more.

  • I specialize in working with people who:

Are ready to heal from trauma. I work with adults, adolescents, and older children (10+) experiencing anxiety, depression or PTSD.

  • I became a therapist because:

I am passionate about access to quality mental health care, particularly, for geographically isolated communities.

  • Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I offer Walk & Talk Therapy at a public trail in Sanford or Pittsboro. Outdoor Play Therapy also available at a public play space in Sanford.

  • More about me and my practice:

At Stokewell, we lean into cultural humility and pair that with unrelenting curiosity. We want to know everything about you - your music, movies, games - whatever brings you joy. We believe that accessing joy is key to mental wellness.
