Caring, competent, and collaborative. I work from research that finds reaching our therapy goals happens when we feel cared about by our therapist.
I focus on care for the second half of life. Key lenses I look through are Biopsychosocial (how our body, mind and spirit together contribuite to problems and solutions) and Existential (what is the meaning of this moment for my patient).
Establish a diagnosis and treatment plan based on your life journey thus far. Identify and build on your strengths. We will attempt to add one new skill most sessions. Between sessions we will note how we are feeling or functioning better.
+ Are aged or planning for their aging. + Live with illness, injury, coping with medications, treatments and medical providers. + Sexual minorities
I survived 2 disabling medical conditions for over 10 years before proper diagnosis. I support people who are overcoming medical issues.
The Sage Center is a wholistic shared practice space. The waiting room and therapy rooms are comfy & warmly decorated. Complimentary tea basket awaits
I have worked with elders for about 45 years in roles including retirement plan administrator, career counselor, retirement counselor, psychiatric technician (during grad school) and psychologist licensed since 2005.
