In therapy, I take an understanding and empathic approach. I am here to be your supporter, but I will also point out the issues to avoid enabling.

Something to know about my approach is:

I work with Gottman Method (Level II trained), Emotional Focused Therapy, and CBT. These models help people communicate efficiently, get deeply connected with their emotions, and undo the unhealthy thoughts/habits that have been built over time.

Together, we will:

We will visit topics such as self worth, confidence, boundaries, and communication. In individual or couples therapy, we will explore our generational issues and how families have affected us today. Habits and negative thoughts will also be a topic.

I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize working with couples. I find my bread and butter is helping couples with communication and overcoming issues. In individual therapy, I enjoy working with various types of people like anxiety, depression, life changes, and pregnancy.

I became a therapist because:

While working inpatient with adolescents (4-13 yo), I realized creating healthy couples will create heathy generations.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

It is a cute house that has been transformed into therapy offices! I work along side other therapists, where we offer a cozy place for therapy.

More about me and my practice:

I created Happy-ish in June 2023. It is impossible to be a happy couple or family or individual. Instead, my goal is to create happy-ish couples and so on. We cannot be perfect but we can be happier than we were before.
