Provides therapy in Texas
OFFERS REMOTE THERAPY
ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
My clients describe me as:
I'm an autistic/ADHD counselor and work with the same. So we will have a good understanding of each other from the very beginning.
Something to know about my approach is:
I embrace the neurodiversity model and do not treat autism or ADHD as disorders, but rather as ways of existing as a human that bring challenges due to living in a neurotypical society.
Together, we will:
We'll address the challenges of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. We'll also address depression, anxiety and trauma within the context as well. We'll help you embrace yourself and your very beautiful brain!
I specialize in working with people who:
I work with autistic and ADHD clients (and those who suspect they might be, including those who have self-diagnosed) who struggle with anxiety, depression and trauma (often related to unrecognized neurodivergence across a lifespan).
I became a therapist because:
My autistic special interest is in how the mind works!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
It's all online - this allows the client to be at home or someplace comfortable and reduces logistical barriers to therapy.
More about me and my practice:
I live off the caprock in West Texas with a big pup, two kitties, an aquatic turtle and many many plants! We can do video or audio sessions, depending on the client's preference.
