My clients describe me as:
laid back, straightforward, and values focused.
Something to know about my approach is:
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a proven approach that helps clients identify and connect to their own values to promote change. I also use Intuitive Eating Counseling, and evidence based approach to healing your relationship with food.
Together, we will:
determine your individual values and goals. We will assess what is preventing you from living a life fulfilled by those values, and develop strategies to pivot towards empowerment and confidence.
I specialize in working with people who:
are adults that are chronically conflict avoidance, people pleasing, perfectionists. I focus on clients with histories of trauma, eating disorders, and anxiety. I help my clients see how these issues interconnect and treat the whole person.
I became a therapist because:
I understand first hand the challenges of living with an eating disorder. Healing is a complicated but empowering and I feel honored to be a guide.
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I am a fully telehealth practice, which allows clients a convenient way to fit therapy into their lives. I love the accessibility telehealth provides.
More about me and my practice:
I truly love my job! Therapy can feel intimidating and overwhelming, but it can also be fun! My clients and I crack jokes, swear, and discuss pop culture often in our sessions.
