As a therapist at the Mental Health and Social Justice Clinic, our approach is to use provide skilled individual, group, and family therapy services and evaluations to meet the needs of our diverse community and community members.

My approach is holistic, meaning I help support the whole person not just mentally. This support will bridge the gap mentally , physically, socially and spiritually.
Together we will work on becoming a better version of yourself. Whatever that version is, and how to get there is based on each individual's needs and goals. The space is open for the individual to decide what it is they want to focus and work on.

As a therapist I am direct with my clients, and I like to use humor as well. I consider myself and eclectic therapist and adjust therapy to the needs of the individual client. There may be moments that are challenging but not impossible to work on.
We will develop problem-solving skills to cope with difficult situations. This cultivates a greater sense of confidence in one’s own abilities. We will also identify and develop your own strengths through art-based techniques.

I emphasize the use of art-making, along with Psychodynamic and CBT, to help challenge and change negative thought patterns, emotions and behaviors. I try to use humor when appropriate to keep my clients comfortable in session.

I integrate a multicultural approach and draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT).
