I am welcoming, nonjudgmental, and openminded. In therapy, I aim to put the client in the drivers' seat, determining the pace and direction we take.

Something to know about my approach is:

I tend to be quite client-centered and the therapeutic relationship is the most important piece of the puzzle to me. In all that I do, I put our relationship first. I believe that healing happens best within the confines of a trusting relationship.

I focus a great deal on the events that occur early in development, resulting in maladaptive behaviors and belief systems. We will focus on the big picture of life, and work to implement changes that facilitate happier, healthier existence.

I specialize in working with people who:

I specialize in working with people who are recovering from sexual trauma. These folks may be experiencing difficult symptoms that are making life hard to live- the work we do together will create skills to reduce symptoms and enjoy life again.

I became a therapist because:

My own life was so positively influenced by positive relationships with therapists. I have seen the incredible ways that change can occur.

More about me and my practice:

I currently only offer therapy virtually, and this is an adjustment for some folks. However, I assure you that virtual therapy can be just as effective- sometimes even moreso- than face-to-face treatment. Once we settle in, the real work can begin!
