I am not just a "sit and listen" therapist. I lean towards using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other Evidence-based theories to help teach concepts and skills that can help people make the positive changes they are looking for.

Life is full of stressors, including expectations that were not met. I help people work through the stresses that are leading to any number of emotions (anger, sadness, anxiety, etc). I also help people learn about and cope with biological diagnoses.

I have been trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a treatment method to help people resolve traumatic experiences from the past that are still having a negative impact on their current lives.

I enjoy engaging with people and them with me. Sometimes talking with a trusted family member or friend is just not enough.
