Something to know about my approach is:

I am not just a "sit and listen" therapist. My approach is based in Evidence Based Trauma Therapy: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) supported with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Concerns I use EMDR to help with: PTSD, preventing PTSD from developing after recent traumatic event, Anxiety, Depression, Other Stress, Panic, Anger, Difficulty establishing or maintaining relationships, Fears, Negative thoughts about yourself.

I specialize in working with people who:

are tired of carrying around negative thoughts and/or beliefs that they logically know are probably not true, but cannot help feeling they are anyway (I am not safe, I don't belong, I am not good enough, etc).

I became a therapist because:

I became trained in EMDR because I recognized trauma is everywhere - big and small, and EMDR really helps facilitating true healing.
