I use an evidence-based model of care that is culturally sensitive and trauma-informed. My theoretical orientation is eclectic. Therapeutic interventions may be cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal social rhythm, existential and others.

With your first session I like to begin to explore the symptoms or situations that brought you to therapy. Together we collaborate on a treatment plan that will help you to overcome the obstacles in your life, and help your symptoms begin to clear.

I specialize in treating clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, addiction issues and those who feel chronically misunderstood. I am culturally sensitive, and enjoy working with people of all races, religions, and walks of life.

I became a therapist because:

Therapy has helped me and many of my loved ones. I believe in therapy, and diversity in the kinds of therapists that there are to choose from.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I offer therapy online, so my office is conveniently located at my home, in a log cabin in the Mississippi woods. I offer therapy on the weekends.
