Using a trauma-informed approach, I teach women to care for themselves while adjusting to life before, during and after the family building stage.

Something to know about my approach is:

EMDR blended with Internal Family Systems, polyvagal theory, attachment theory and mindfulness techniques to examine, heal and reclaim parts of yourself that may have gotten stuck in survival mode during losses and stressful life events.

Together, we will:

Integrate and weave these lost parts of self back into a new, whole, adult sense of self. We will explore mindfulness tools to allow the nervous system to reset and find safety, peace, connectedness, belonging and ultimately self trust.

I specialize in working with people who:

Women adjusting to pregnancy & postpartum, birth trauma, infertility, adoption and/or are curious about how to build and maintain a healthy family while healing from their own childhood wounds, family of origin dynamics and intergenerational trauma

I became a therapist because:

A self professed therapy nerd and in my heart of hearts a healer, nurturer and advocate and uphold the values of the Social Work code of ethics.

Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:

I am neurodiversity affirming, anti-racist, LGTBQIA ally. I offer an inclusive space for those who are learning to thrive with ADHD/autistic traits.
