My clients describe me as:
a warm, compassionate, supportive, and empowering Christian therapist who offers a peaceful space w/out judgment. I communicate change is possible!
Something to know about my approach is:
I use a client-centered approach, helping you to meet the goals you set for yourself. I also use brain, body, and strengths-based approaches that are grounded in research. When appropriate, I use EMDR to help clients get unstuck and process memories.
Together, we will:
work to bring healing and balance to help calm your body. I will help you to seek to honor what was lost, reclaim parts of yourself that have been hidden, and rebuild a healthy life in a way that allows you to walk your unique journey with hope.
I specialize in working with people who:
are adult women that have experienced some degree of grief, loss, and/or trauma that have lead to an activated or shutdown emotional state. I seek to help clients grow not only relationally (with themselves & others), but emotionally and spiritually.
I became a therapist because:
I personally know the difference that good therapy can make. I am passionate about helping clients to discover themselves and create a life they love!
Something that stands out about where I offer therapy is:
I offer a nonjudgmental space for clients to become curious about what is driving their symptoms. My office is conveniently located on the 1st floor.
More about me and my practice:
I believe in the power of the counseling relationship as it can serve as a catalyst for individual insight, progressive change, and overall mental health wellness. Please visit the FAQ section of my website for answers to commonly asked questions.
